Welcome to Lourdes Hill Convent School
Established in 1976, Lourdes Hill Convent School began with a simple yet meaningful vision: to provide quality English-medium education to the children of Pollibetta and the surrounding communities. At a time when English-medium education was still a rare privilege in this part of Kodagu, the school became a valued centre of learning and an institution in which families placed their trust.
What began as a humble educational endeavour has grown steadily over five decades. As the need for quality education increased, the school responded to the aspirations of the local community and expanded its educational mission to the High School level. Students from Pollibetta and neighbouring places such as Virajpet, Siddapur and Suntikoppa became part of the Lourdes family.
Throughout its journey, the school has remained committed to more than academic achievement. Generations of dedicated teachers have helped shape young minds, while students have brought honour to their alma mater through their achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. Many alumni have gone on to serve society and the nation in distinguished positions.

As we celebrate 50 years of dedicated service to education, we thank God Almighty for HIS countless blessings. For five decades, our school has been committed to providing quality, Value-Based education, nurturing students with character, knowledge & compassion and empowering them to live with dignity, freedom and responsibility as true agents of transformation.

Our Jubilee year is a season of thanksgiving: a solemn Eucharist, an alumni homecoming, a cultural festival and a commemorative volume. Board the train and travel through the founding, the growth and the golden year.
